The Polartec Apex Awards is where we honor partners for designing groundbreaking products with our fabrics. We look through dozens and dozens of entries every year in order to choose garments that demonstrate our diverse set of fabric platforms; that go beyond the standard use of performance technology; that provide novel solutions to everyday problems.

We’re Polartec, premium provider of innovative and sustainable textile solutions. We invented the modern technical fleece 40 years ago and have worked to advance the science of fabric ever since. What is Malden?
Apex winners are presented the coveted Malden trophy for their wizardry in product design. Its name is derived from the original Malden Mills, the birthplace of Polartec and a center of American fabric manufacturing for over 100 years.
